What it does S.P.R. Full Protocol bundles the four steps of the S.P.R. (Sensorial Porosity Reconstruction) service into a single kit: S.P.R. Shampoo (Step 0), Protein Infusion (Step 1), Seal & Protect (Step 2) and Acidic Closure (Step 3). Together they clean, infuse botanical peptides into the cortex, lock the peptides in place and close the cuticle at pH 3.5, in one appointment of roughly 30 minutes' chair time. How to use it Step 0: apply S.P.R. Shampoo to wet hair and scalp, massage 2 to 3 minutes, rinse. Step 1: apply Protein Infusion to mid-lengths and ends, leave 10 minutes (heat optional), do not rinse. Step 2: apply Seal & Protect over Step 1, leave 10 minutes (heat optional), rinse thoroughly. Step 3: apply Acidic Closure to mid-lengths and ends, leave 5 minutes, rinse thoroughly and finish as desired. What not to do Professional use only, for all four products. Do not skip a step or run them out of order: Step 1 is designed to be sealed by Step 2, not rinsed out on its own. Do not rinse between Steps 1 and 2: they share a single joint rinse, after Step 2. Its Fruit Acid Closure complex, at pH 3.5, the only pH declared on a Piur London label, uses natural fruit acids to help rebalance the fibre and seal the cuticle, preserving the results of the earlier steps and leaving hair aligned, light and luminous with a mirror-shine finish. How to use it Apply evenly to wet mid-lengths and ends. Massage in and leave on for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and finish as desired. When to use it Step 3, the last step of the S.P.R. protocol, straight after the Seal & Protect rinse. Its Abyssinian Peptide Lock combines Abyssinian oil and lipids to smooth the cuticle, lock in the botanical peptides deposited in Step 1 and help preserve resistance, flexibility and softness. How to use it Apply evenly over Step 1, from mid-lengths to ends. Massage in and leave on for 10 minutes; heat is optional. Rinse thoroughly. Proceed to Step 3, Acidic Closure. When to use it Step 2, applied over Step 1 (Protein Infusion), never in its place, before the joint rinse and Step 3, Acidic Closure. How to use it Apply evenly to wet mid-lengths and ends. Do not apply to the scalp. Leave on for 10 minutes; a mild heat source may be used during the pause if the protocol calls for it. Do not rinse. Proceed straight to Step 2, Seal & Protect, applied over the top. When to use it Step 1, straight after S.P.R. Shampoo on towel-dried hair, before Seal & Protect (Step 2). Not designed to be used on its own.
